In the book of Romans, Paul says his calling is "to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of [Christ's] name among all nations" (Rom. 1:5). Like Paul we are called to make disciples of all nations. Spring Hill Baptist Church has always been a church that "gives and goes" to support global missions.
Your church staff, working in conjunction with the Missions Committee, is excited to announce three new opportunities for you to let your “Love Work” in 2014. As many of you already know from experience, getting involved in hands on missions opportunities like these do much good for those we serve, but can also be life changing for those of us that serve. There is nothing quite like showing and sharing God’s love in a practical way. Jesus met the practical needs of people as a way to point them to the truth of the gospel. It is our prayer that the work done on these three trips will bring glory to the Lord, will bring light and love to those we serve, and will be life changing for those of you that are able to go.
Informational Meeting for All Three New Trips will be February 16, 2014, 4:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall:
In the past we have extended our love to Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Africa. Our next trip is back to Tanzania, Africa in June, 2014.
We will be sending a team to Africa with MedReach, an organization that conducts international medical missions. This group will display the love of Christ to Muslim villages as they provide health services, eye glasses, education, and the gospel message.
Be a Prayer Partner for the team or an individual by e-mailing for more information.
You can also help supply the team to go:
You may drop off items in any of the church offices.
